A native New Yorker, Audrey Frick moved west to study music at the University of Colorado. She fell in love with beverage and hospitality while working on her masters and living in Boulder. In 2013, she was hired by Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey to work at Frasca Food and Wine, and made her way from the back office to the wine team, earning an Advanced Sommelier credential through the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2016. She served as an opening member of the wine team at Frasca’s sister restaurant, Tavernetta, in Denver, later becoming lead sommelier. Audrey’s passion for wine education and culture has taken her to Europe to help with harvests at Iuli in Monferratto in Piedmont and at Marquis d’Angerville in Burgundy. Audrey also writes about wine, with a particular focus on the wines of Italy.
