Executive Sous Chef
Charlie began his career in his hometown Detroit, MI working for Nick Janutol at Forest, where he gained his cooking foundation. After being promoted to Sous Chef, he grew a love for fine dining and began staging in Michelin starred kitchens such as Per Se, Blue Hill in NYC, & Benu in San Francisco. Charlie then set his eyes on NYC and cooking at Betony then continued on to Villanelle, a farm to table restaurant in Greenwich Village, as Chef de Cuisine. Charlie also spent time at the famed Eleven Madison Park as entremetier. In 2020 Charlie moved to DC in height of the pandemic to help open Joñt as a Chef de Partie, where they earned 2 Michelin stars within the first 10 months. After returning to NYC, Charlie is excited to continue growing with the One White Street team as Executive Sous Chef.
